Welcome

Welcome to Cybersecurity Awareness Month. In this course, you will learn how to identify signs of Social Engineering and Phishing. You will learn about the importance of Password Managers and Multi-Factor Authentication. Upon completion of this course, you will be entered into a raffle to win prizes from our security and software vendors

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify signs of Phishing and Social Engineering
  • Explain what a strong password is and why to use a Password Manager
  • Explain the importance of keeping software up to date
  • Explain what is Multi-Factor Authentication

Audience

This is a course for anyone who want to be safer while utilizing computer resources.

Course Format

This is a self-paced course. You will read and review each module. At the end of the course you will need to complete a quiz based on the material within each module. You must complete all the activities to complete the course and earn your badge. Completion of the course will automatically enter you in for the raffle. 

Time Needed

Each module should take 10 minutes.  Some modules will require active participation to apply your learning and the time needed will depend on your understanding of the material. The course is designed to be within one hours of learning time. This course will only be offered during the month of October!
