Science of Reading - First Grade

Learning outcomes:

• Build understanding of the key components of reading instruction: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension
• Develop pedagogical practices related to the key components to support students' reading development
• Build knowledge of reading assessment and how to use assessments to make instructional decisions.
